My mix is has some stuff Brian probably already likes, and I mixed in some stuff in that he probably hasn't heard...
1. Shoot To Thrill - AC/DC (hey, he's always talking about making a rock-n-roll album, right?) 2. Strange Days - The Doors (really reminds me of 'I Just Wasn't Made For These Times' for some reason...) 3. Remember - AIR (throwback to 20/20) 4. Space Bound - Eminem (so Brian thinks rap is crap - perhaps this song could change his mind?) 5. Claire De Lune - Philadelphia Orchestra (I think Brian would find this to be one of the most beautiful songs recorded) 6. The Only Living Boy In New York - Simon and Garfunkel (I think Brian likes harmony, he may dig this song) 7. Poinciana - Henry Mancini (throwback to the percussion on 'You Still Believe In Me') 8. It Ain't Me Babe - Joaquin Phoenix & Reese Witherspoon (so Brian hates Johnny Cash's voice, perhaps he'll like this version more) 9. Crystalline Green - Goldfrapp (electronica mixed with some nice harmonies) 10. That Thing You Do - The Wonders (Okay, not vintage 60s music, still a great song that I think he'd love) 11. Hero - The Asteroids Galaxy Tour (some nice chord changes Brian may like). 12. The Escapist - Coldplay (reminds me of what modern white spiritual music would sound like) 13. In The Wee Small Hours Of The Morning - Astrud Gilberto (lovely vocals and instrumentals, what's not to like about it?)

He likes 'Proud Mary' and 'Let It Be' too.
Maybe leave out 'She's Leaving Home'.

Can I request some Gorky's Zygotic Mynci? Maybe Miss Trudy or Game of Eyes. They also did a song called Mr Groovy about Adrian Baker-see, I knew I could a tenuous link in somewhere!
Seriously, seek out their album Bwyd Time on Ankst. Very Smiley Smile/Odessey and Oracle influenced

No Stevie Nicks?
I think Brian - like many of us - was more a fan of Stevie's looks than her songs. Maybe she could do a sexy little burlesque dance for him while his CD plays?

Would change one thing - Swap that tuneless swine Costello for Janelle Monae covering "Smile", who I do rightly swear is the greatest pop star in operation today. This is really hard to do! I kinda want to put awesome music on it regardless, but Brian's taste is kinda conservative and by his own admission hasn't loved much since about 1977 (or whenever that Doobie Brothers tune came out). And i'm not sure anyone would appreciate a mix of people whose careers are based around ripping you off. I could just be thinking too much about it, of course....
