I had totally forgotten about this - and the last time I probably saw it was on NBC.
Back then I really wasn't that aware of Brian's issues; I don't think most people were. Pretty amazing they probably literally dragged him out of bed.

This is a Beach Boys message board, mostly pertaining to the Beach Boys.
I'll bite.
So, why don't you tell us the story of how you came to be in the
same house that Brian Wilson was in
the same month they filmed that bit.
Was it Brian's house? Was it a friend? Was it for sale and you're a realtor? Did you break in and steal the TV? Were you delivering a new bed? Were you the local Reddy Whip distributor? Were you being held hostage for weeks in the bottom of a pit in the basement and forced to rub lotion on your skin or else you'd get the hose again?

Well, the "doozy of a story" will be the absolute truth. A well known Beach Boys fan/collector was with me and will vouch for everything I say. I told 'Custom Machine' I'd post it here one of these days. That was a few months ago......

I think you need to know that everything out of my mouth (or keyboard) is sarcastic. Always true, but sarcastic. Do I really need a /sarc tag?
So I do believe you - just some gentle ribbing.
It would be a hoot to hear something about the house, and it's obvious if there's a story behind it it's more than just a prop on the warner lot.
Besides, judging from the amazing things people pop up with here (like the videos from PS) I'd believe anything coming out of this forum.
As far as

, he's obviously a
disturbed individual
and your story would be completely wasted on him in an alcoholic fog of Jack Daniels.
