Question: Should this discussion be moved to the Sandbox?
Naahh, Beach Boys, SMiLE and drugs is as on-topic as can be - 99 (67.8%)
It's about time, I've requested this at least 20 pages back - 27 (18.5%)
Who cares, it isn't going to be released anyway - 11 (7.5%)
I don't like drugs and I don't like SMiLE, we might as well delete this discussion - 2 (1.4%)

I'd like to poitn out my CD shop only had the 1 and 2CD sets in, the only box set they got was the one I ordered, so don't go looking too hard for one lying around. plenty of the 1 and 2 Cd sets though!

I'd phone them and ask. Depends on how quickly the despatch it after you order. I got confirmation of despatch yesterday and it arrived today so you may be in with a chance.

Just finished the album sequence. All I can say regarding the sound quality is Wow. There seems to be so much depth and power in this mono mix. Highlights for me on first listen are Worms (the intro is like a canon going off!), Old Master Painter (finally a proper historically accurate mix), Surf's Up, Child and Windchimes (there are some cool percussion sounds at the start which I'm not familiar with). But there is so much to get into just within this disc 1 sequence. Linett and Boyd have done a terrific job.
