Today I heard “Teardrops On My Bed” for the first time, which was supposedly recorded on Oct. 19, 1978 during the L.A. Light album sessions. The track sounds like it’s in demo form, and I’ve never seen it booted on any Beach Boys/Brian comp before. It sounds like Brian’s kinda going off the deep end, but he's really into it and having a good time here. The guy can really belt out a tune, eh? Has anybody else here heard it?

Ready to snort a couple more hog rails, Bri?    “C’mon, let’s go, Mofo’s!!”

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

4 words; garbage bags of blow. That's what BW must've been doing to get that, er, excited over this lame-o rocker. Still, it is AWESOME.

he does sound positively insane on this. and its crazy to think he  sounded how he did in like 1970 compared to this. Chapel of Love sounds glorious compared to this. I'm still awaiting the Lucy Jones voice to add to this list of odd voices Brian throws out there.

Hahahahaha

This is precisely why I love Brian Wilson. He is capable of stuff like Pet Sounds but is also... this kind of stuff!

edit: I wish the instruments were a little more rockin' and faster to match his excitement though, hooboy!

I just heard it. As awful as I thought it would be. Yet utterly fascinating as all things BW are. Still, I think I'm gonna throw up.

Well..............if you're only mildly interested, then I guess you aren't really that interested, huh?

This one is on the shortlist of tracks I'd LOVE to see released. So what if it's completely loaded with profanities? Brian's having fun with it.

I would love to go back in time and be a fly on the wall, and observe brian in the 24 hours before and after this recording was made.  Grin

At around 2:07 into the recording, ugh...what did I just hear? It sounds like Brian said "C'mon, grab my c*ck...suck it".  Shocked

I would like to hear this, but of course am appalled by the idea of listening to recordings of dubious legality! Please Melinda, why don't you get it released? Grin
