Brian rehearses his band in "Monster Mash" during sound check. They performed it a couple of times night before last. http://www.youtube.com/brianwilsonlive#p/u

Thanks for the link. I always learn something while watching professionals practice.
I know this is just practice, but I hope they sing it in the Boris Karloff voice, like the original.
Which Beach Boy sang lead on this on the Live in Concert album?

They did it TWICE when I saw them in Englewood the other night. Paul Mertens sang lead on the verses, and I don't think he actually knew how the song went. It seemed like he was reading the lyrics and he got the phrasing all wrong.

I was glad they did the uncensored version too. You'll note that the version on the Concert LP is heavily censored. References to Dracula and Beelzebub were in the original, and Paul sang them tonight.

I like the Beatles a bit more than the Boys of Beach, I think Brian's band is the tops---really amazing. And finally, I'm liberal. That's it.

I doubt he'll be doing it at the Nov 10th show, being post-Halloween and all...

At 4:09, listen to Brian harmonizing over Jeff's lead! It's brilliant! I've never heard him/them sing that little part in harmony before.

How many people would poop themselves if Brian just started singing My Solution for the season?

To view my video documentation of my Beach Boys collection go to www.youtube.com/justinplank "Someone needs to tell Adrian Baker that imitation isn't innovation." -The Real Beach Boy ~post of the century~ "Well, you reached out to me too, David, and I'd be more than happy to fill Bgas's shoes. You don't need him anyway - some of us have the same items in our collections as he does and we're also much better writers. Spoiled brat....." -Mikie "in this online beach boy community, I've found that you're either correct or corrected. How many people would poop themselves if Brian just started singing My Solution for the season? I would pay good money to be there if he did that, if only to see the " WTF ?" look on the faces of about 75% of the audience. Then I would crap myself.

It would be wonderful for Brian's mental development for him to offend his audience.

The people who typically go to Brian's shows would already be familiar with the song anyway, so I doubt anyone would be offended.
