The Beach Boys: A California Saga by Tom Nolan in Rolling Stone (Beach Boys on the cover). Anyone know if it is online someplace, or published in a compilation somewhere? I have the second half in the Kingsley Abbott Back To The Beach book. Looking for Part One of the article. May have to try to by a vintage Rolling Stone mag copy to get it? I hope not.

The article was reprinted in the "Surf's Up Songbook!
And also in the "Best of The Beach Boys" songbook, printed in 1973 by Amsco Music Publishing Co. I see the music books and the Rolling Stone issues in Ebay every once in awhile.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Guess my post wasn't funny. Steve laughed at your dumb suggestion instead, Bgas. My response had more of a serious tone to it, I guess.

What's the world coming to when you feel the need to take yourself down to where you're forced to supplicate yourself before Steve to get some acclamation?
