Everyone now worships Raspberries and Big Star as the power pop torch carriers of the early seventies while groups like Crabby Appleton and Stories were doing the same thing just as well.

The Stories stuff is ... OK, but it's no Left Banke or even Montage. Certainly no Big Star or Raspberries, that's for sure. I'd throw it on the list anyway, tho. It's worth hearing, but no great shakes imo.

Haven't heard Crabby Appleton.
