I know that this is a band that people either love or really hate.  I for one, love these guys. They're the only band i've ever cried to while listening to their music.  Their ( ) album just strikes a very powerful chord in me. I've NEVER reacted that way to music before.  I just picked up their new album today (i won't even begin to type out the name of the album. ha), it's a gorgeous piece of work. Sigur Ros is my ultimate "escape" band.
Any other fans out there?

Yes, I love () and Takk. Von was ok, it didnt really strike me as the latter. I don't think I've listened to A byrjun, so I couldnt say much about that...

I need to check out their new stuff.

They're great, especially live. But I've found out that I need to be in a certain mood to be able to fully appreciate the quality of their music, it's very atmospheric, it can take you places.

I only have three of their albums, "Agaetis Byrjun" (excellent album), "(  )" and the new one with the catchy title, but I've only heard it once, so I can't say much about it. I like what they're doing though.

Jonas, you should definitely get your hands on Agaetis Byrjun.  I'd almost compare it to Takk, only because it's not as much of a depressing listen as ( ) is.  Von is the only one that i don't have. I've listened to some of it and it just didn't do it for me. Agaetis Byrjun was a HUGE step forward. Also, their new album is quite good aswell. If you're a fan of their last 2 albums, i'm positive you won't be disappointed seeking out their other works.
