Seems appropriate to mention here.  Yes its true.  And as he would have it, I will say he didn't pass away.  He didn't expire.  He DIED.
 
Appropriate to mention here because he was an integral part of the counterculture of the 60's.  A rocker who performed to packed houses full of hippies and didn't play an isntrument, had no band, but made us think and dance.

I saw him last year.  Glad I took the time.
