Wonder when and how the rehearsal will be.... "Hey Brian, you remember that broken leg? BTW, I don't like your shoes"... But I guess Al doesn't like any shoes on anybody, because they make the others so much taller....

I thought it was Mike who supposedly made the shoes comment?

And Alan got more good news today with the dismissal of a large part of Mike's lawsuit against him.

Al has a well-documented foot-fetish.  It even crept into one of his songs.

I'll be going to this one too.

In 2004 at the Keswick I managed to meet Brian. I hope to add to my record and make it two times at the Keswick. Smiley

Well let's see........ it was a 2 mil lawsuit and "part of it" has been thrown out.  Alan did not illegally use the name of the Beach Boys.  No breach of contract, no breach of fiduciary duty. They are giving Love a last chance to amend the suit before trial date...Nov. 6.    Go Alan!

$59!!!  That's just £31 in UK money.  London tickets - £85 (and that's just the official price - big chunk of them seem to be in the hands of scum charging £240 for first seven rows).

This sounds exciting, Brian and Alan are more authentically Beach Boys than Mike and Bruce IMO.
I assume they'll have a normal back catalogue set before hand and I wonder if Al will contribute to that or bring him out just for Pet Sounds?
I wonder what numbers (if any) Al would sing, of course on the album he only sung part of 'I know theres an answer' but live he did 'WIBN' and 'YSBIM', so I wonder if they'll dole out the leads to him?
Who knows, its good news though. Maybe they'll just do a medley of Brian-Al songs - At my window, good time (Oh how i'd love to hear that!) etc. or maybe Brian will coax Al into singing 'Honkin' down the Highway'! Cheesy

Oh yeah, those Brian/Al-songs are great. Don't forget "Wake The World"! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SoSi_Uzoh4)

I assumed that Al would be playing with Brian, or does it mean he's the opening act?
On a separate note Matt Damon sort of looks a bit like Al, if they ever made a film, and Joshua Jackson (Dawsons Creek) has a speaking voice an awful lot like Mike Love.

I'm hoping we'll hear At My Window (despite the fact Bruce sings the album version), Wake the World, Rhonda, Christmas Day, When a Man Loves a Woman, Add  Some Music, Susie Cincinatti with Al on vocals, and of course WIBN, Sloop, and I Know There's an Answer (I'd rather he did Hang on to you ego instead tho).

Does anyone know if Al will be appearing at the London concert or is there still no news on this? I can't help thinking that if they've announced he will be in the US a week later, they'd have advertised Al as part of the UK concert too ...

Would be cool if they'd do H&V with Al on lead too...  How 'bout a solo mini-Al set with LOOKIN AT TOMORROW & TAKE A LOAD OFF YOUR FEET, etc.?!  I suppose there's little chance of that happening...
