The website to buy tickets for Mike's 1/30 show in Fayetteville, while using a pic of Mike's licensed band, clearly uses a blurb that someone lazily took from a 2012 bio of the band, and all of the text indicates the gig will feature the reunion lineup. This is important because this isn't a random blog, but the actual website where you buy tickets:
http://www.community-concerts.com/2016/07/27/beach-boys/Interestingly, there's also a website for the Fayetteville community newspaper (which may well have also been printed; I don't know if they have a print edition) where they advertise the show with the same erroneous text indicating Brian will be part of the show and it will be a reunion gig:
http://www.upandcomingweekly.com/entertainment/the-beach-boys-bring-a-taste-of-summer-to-the-crownAlso worth noting is that this listing also features what is presumably a flyer/advertisement for the show. This flyer again does use the creepy pic of Mike's own band, but then also uses *FIVE* vintage photos featuring the original five Beach Boys, with a "55 Years of Fun Fun Fun" text over the top.
I'm curious if there are actual going to be people at this gig who though they were getting the reunion lineup. The URL for the ticket listing suggests it may have been posted all the way back in July, and the gig is now only 10 days away. So it's possible that everybody who bought tickets to this show over the last six months would have seen text indicating it's a reunion gig. That's pretty bad.
