You have found another. "Twist and Shout" should not be in the top 3 - Great version, but it is not an original Lennon/McCartney song.

Who cares? There's no rule to vote for original McCartney-Lennon song.

Sorry, RR1 - it's a good song, amid other good songs. Just like Feelsflow, picked it because it's a cover. (Also, because two of the three other songs are better IMO)

Well sorry, Elizabeth, picking song because it's cover is lame reason IMO. But you said the other 2 better - that's good reason.

I agree, the fact that it's a cover is irrelevant. Especially since the Beatles really made it their own.... Possibly the best cover they ever did

T&S, in the Beatles lexicon, is downright iconic and fully deserving of a place in the top three, IMO.

Please Please Me is the debut studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. Parlophone rush-released the album on 22 March 1963 in the United Kingdom to capitalise on the success of the singles "Please Please Me" (No. 1 on most lists though only No. 2 on Record Retailer)[6] and "Love Me Do" (No. 17).
Of the album's 14 songs, eight were written by Lennon–McCartney (originally credited "McCartney–Lennon"), early evidence of what Rolling Stone later called "[their invention of] the idea of the self-contained rock band, writing their own hits and playing their own instruments."[7] In 2012, Please Please Me was voted 39th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time."[8]
One person just couldn't see her standing in the final three. 4 smilers refuse to shake it up, twist and shout. But finally, 8 smilers decided there wasn't a place for There's A Place.
Final round is here. Just a reminder on how that works. This time we are not voting for least favorite. Of the final three you must pick which song you think is the BEST and the MOST DESERVING of the title "SURVIVOR".
Vote your favorite of the remaining three. Go!

The top 3 are a unique representation of the Beatles at this stage. Twist and Shout is a cover. Please Please Me is a song written mostly by John. I Saw Her Standing There is a song written mostly by Paul. ISHST is a great way to open the album. The bass line really drives the whole song forward. Please Please Me has interesting vocal harmonies.Twist and Shout creates an energy that is difficult to rival...
In the end I will go with the song I have the most fun singing and playing.
Please Please Me.
