"P.S. I Love You" is my best move for this round.

After a looooong break, I thought I would ressurect the old Survivor threads, but this time touching on The Beatles.

Quote
Please Please Me is the debut studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. Parlophone rush-released the album on 22 March 1963 in the United Kingdom to capitalise on the success of the singles "Please Please Me" (No. 1 on most lists though only No. 2 on Record Retailer)[6] and "Love Me Do" (No. 17).

Of the album's 14 songs, eight were written by Lennon–McCartney (originally credited "McCartney–Lennon"), early evidence of what Rolling Stone later called "[their invention of] the idea of the self-contained rock band, writing their own hits and playing their own instruments."[7] In 2012, Please Please Me was voted 39th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time."[8]

As usual vote for your least favorite track. The track with the most votes gets voted off.

Tally on July 23rd.

I Saw Her Standing There
Misery
Anna
Chains
Boys
Ask Me Why
Please Please Me
Love Me Do
P.S. I Love You
Baby It's You
Do You Want To Know A Secret
A Taste of Honey
There's A Place
Twist and Shout

I love that this album (with a few exceptions) was recorded in one day. Even for the time, that must've been a rare occurrence. It's in my top five albums from The Beatles. Still, the nature of the game is to pick your LEAST favorite track and, for me, that is "Chains".

Your turn folks! Let's get this game back up on it's beatley feet!  3D

(sorry mods. I tried to create this in the Polls section, but the site wouldn't let me)

Just curious, when do the results get tallied and thread for With the Beatles posted?

Take some time to check out this thread (http://smileysmile.net/board/index.php/topic,17286.450.html) It should give you an idea how long each album takes.

"P.S. I Love You"

And please don't set Anna free - I love that song.  Same with "Ask Me Why" - fantastic number.

Disagree - it's very boring. Just some throwaway ditty.

This weeks voting was prettyb split, again.

With 4 votes, all the post scripted love in the world just wasn't quite enough to save P.S. I Love You.

As usual vote for your least favorite track. The track with the most votes gets voted off.

Tally on August 10.

I Saw Her Standing There
Misery
Anna
Ask Me Why
Please Please Me
Love Me Do
Baby It's You
Do You Want To Know A Secret
There's A Place
Twist and Shout

Round#1 A Taste of Honey July 23
Round#2 Boys July 30
Round#3 Chains August 3
Round#4 P.S. I Love You August 7

I know my vote this time will likely stick around for a few more rounds, but I vote for Love Me Do. There just isn't a whole lot there except it's kitschy catchyness.
