Please Please Me is the debut studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. Parlophone rush-released the album on 22 March 1963 in the United Kingdom to capitalise on the success of the singles "Please Please Me" (No. 1 on most lists though only No. 2 on Record Retailer)[6] and "Love Me Do" (No. 17).

Of the album's 14 songs, eight were written by Lennon–McCartney (originally credited "McCartney–Lennon"), early evidence of what Rolling Stone later called "[their invention of] the idea of the self-contained rock band, writing their own hits and playing their own instruments."[7] In 2012, Please Please Me was voted 39th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time."[8]

This was the closest round yet. 3 votes for Anna. 4 votes for Ask Me Why. But this week baby, it's "Baby It's You".

As usual vote for your least favorite track. The track with the most votes gets voted off.

Tally on August 30.

I Saw Her Standing There
Misery
Anna
Ask Me Why
Please Please Me
There's A Place
Twist and Shout

Round#1 A Taste of Honey July 23
Round#2 Boys July 30
Round#3 Chains August 3
Round#4 P.S. I Love You August 7
Round#5 Do You Want To Know A Secret August 16
Round#6 Love Me Do August 20
Round#7 Baby It's You August 25

This week  my vote goes to Anna. I love this vocal by John. It's a great song. But at this point, it is the lacks something the others all have. Beatleness.

Vote! Vote! Vote!

Once again,

Anna

Once Anna goes with him, this will become much more difficult.

Sad to see Baby It's You go, always been a favorite of mine. Lately, I've been enjoying Smith's version too. Oh well.

Misery.

I have a special place in my heart for Anna, ever since that Married with Children episode where Al Bundy became obsessed with that song.

This week we found that Anna eventually did go with him (5 votes).

As usual vote for your least favorite track. The track with the most votes gets voted off.

Tally on September 5.

I Saw Her Standing There
Misery
Ask Me Why
Please Please Me

Twist and Shout

Round#5 Do You Want To Know A Secret August 16
Round#6 Love Me Do August 20
Round#7 Baby It's You August 25
Round#8 Anna August 31

Now my vote will swing towards Ask Me Why. Don't ask me why. It just is.

Now it's getting tough.

But, I'm going to go with Ask Me Why also.   I like the song, but it's the weakest of the remaining survivors.

Ask Me Why is so-so thus won't be upset if it goes.

But will go back to my Week One choice - Misery. Can't stand that song.

There's a Place.  I like the harmonies on it but I just don't think it's a good song overall.
