Many happy returns, sir. I hope the world treats you well today.
Pity I can't identify your "vague" tune (yet)--it would have made a great birthday present!
Thanks!
Somebody bought me a blueberry cheesecake, so that's a cool gift. I haven't opened presents yet, so I'm still wondering what the day has in store for me today.

For those who remember him, the wonderfully named Freddie French-Pounce turns 24 today. Happy birthday, sir!
For those who don't remember him, this may jog your memory:

It's real name, he's in Facebook, we used to chat. Fred/ Freddie(-y) is fave name since Fred Krueger films.
Yes, I did check his "Slaughter" series back in 2012-3 - really fun listen. Back then, he's 17-year kid, isn't it weird?

Missed Glen Campbell's birthday yesterday. Glen would have been 83. Thank you, sir, for some brilliant session work and some fine music of your own.

I originally posted this at my "hobby forum". In my struggle to reconnect with the Boys after a prolonged bout of BB Burnout (hence my lack of posts in the BB section of Smiley), I've put together a modest Beach Boys Multimedia Survival Package which may help me get back on track. It consists of three singles...
"Fun, Fun, Fun" b/w "Why Do Fools Fall In Love"
"I Get Around" b/w "Don't Worry Baby"
"Good Vibrations" b/w "Let's Go Away For Awhile"
...three albums...
BB:
Surfer Girl
Dennis:
Pacific Ocean Blue
Aquarian SMiLE
(Mujan mix)
...two books...
Wouldn't It Be Nice: My Own Story
(BW with Todd Gould)
How Deep Is the Ocean?
(Paul Williams)
... and one documentary:

Damn, I missed Tony Asher's birthday yesterday, even though it's in my diary.
A belated happy 80th birthday, sir. May you enjoy many more years of good health.

I thought the same thing we he started that thread! We are incredibly lucky to have him here. I mean, it's the man who engineered some of the finest recordings ever done, yet he is graceful enough to share his knowledge and memories here on this forum. Thanks you, Stephen. It's an honour!
