How cool is that!
Fantastic
I love how the Bridge School stuff has facilitated these kind of collaborations over the years! Good old Neil.

Anyone got a report about the actual show? My man at the scene said BW and band were pretty off the first night, but good the second.

We should spam respond his Twatter, ask him how well he'd do at 72 years old and half-deaf.

In addition to that, he should be forced to listen to Murry "i'm a genius too" Wilson and Phil "He's koo-koo" Spector on an endless wall of sound loop while trying to perform Good Vibrations.

I'd say average is being generous.
The falsetto at the end sounds like Mike's impression of Brian in Cassius vs. Sonny.

Not that bad...I've heard worse, but Brian never really does that song that well. And yeah, Ike kinda did sound Mickey Mouse-ish in a way.

Ike sounds rather similar to recent Jeff performances of this song there (ie. not very good). Randell and Matt both did a better job imo.

What the Hell's Al doing? He's a guitar player, not a damn tambourine player! He's more like a third wheel here than a guest appearer.
Ike sounds like Dean Torrence. Sounds pretty strained on the high notes on Good Vibrations. And Brian with his repetitive "Now!" takes away from greatness of the song.
Bring back Matt.
This was a concert I would have attended years before (it's about 15 miles from my house) when Neil had some good guests. Just to sit through a few unknown bands to watch Brian and his band sing a handful of songs and Neil at the encore really isn't worth the effort for me anymore. After many years of fun at Shoreline, the Bridge Benefit Concerts are going away, maybe as early as next near.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Matt Jardine once made a great post about how hard singing falsetto live really is. Ike hasn't done many shows with Brian - and wouldn't this have been the biggest crowd he's ever performed for? I say cut him some slack and wait til the NPP tour to truly assess the dude as a performer...also, the She Knows Me Too Well clip sounded really, really good to me.

I read a lot of comments saying Brian's set was the highlight of the night and really enjoyable. As usual Brian's live show divides opinion among the causal listener.
Cool picture of Brian's tour bus
