Here's one of my 1st postings on the board, truncated v-n of intro:

G'day! I am a newbie and I'm glad & happy to be one of you! In the real - not imaginary - world my name is Marianne. I'm 22. I like the USA very much! It's a beautiful land! I had never been there but I'd love to. Very good country. I think American musicians are far stronger than British.

Discovered The Beach Boys in winter of 2010 almost in January of the next year. That discover soon changed my musical taste. Firstly I downloaded of course Pet Sounds LP which I liked immediately and nicknamed it "The Greatest record of all nations". Then I found separate tracks from various earlier albums. And only after hearing At My Window I finally recognized the greatness of The Beach Boys and became sincerely devoted to the group.      

So what *we* established falls flat on the ground. [nice try, Marcella, you're a true gossip girl (despite the boy gender sign)].

2 faux-Legendary: turns out, you aren't the man of your word if you follow me whenever I do sth. wrong. Better block me. Also, fyi, I don't keep track of what is offensive in the UK. In Russia, "spastic" can be used illiterally. Not to mention I referenced it from another postser on another board.

RR knows more about me than I have let the board know. I find that creepy.

Here's a song I wrote last year.  I have chops for a 21 year old doing bedroom music-making (maybe not for singing though...). This song is at least 10X as good as "Got to Know The Woman" () Yes I'm not a lady. Lady Xoc was just a cool Maya queen (I'm into Mesoamerican archaeology/art history)

See? That's how I found your real name, via the link that YOU yourself posted on the MAIN - no less - board. So don't hang it on me. Speaking of (the) hanging (I'm looking at you, Mr. bgas), I don't have suicidal tendencies. Not sure I will, either.

Now, let me congratulate SloopJohnB on thorough research of my identity. As a good scientist, he didn't forget to reference the original work/post. However, nothing can beat KittyKat's priceless conspiracy theory: "Wasn't this person claiming English wasn't "her" first language? I strongly suspect "her" entire persona is a put-on, and she/he is using it to say whatever the heck they want."

This was a real crummy thread that lead to no good end.  How about "we" don't continue on with Beach Boy favorites.  Follow your own quote Temporary Jarhead, as there is nothing to add here.  This pot has been stirred well enough.  Let this thread drop to the bottom where it belongs.

A week is a quick fly-by.  Glad RangeRover slipped through with little damage.  I'm glad she's back, and glad to see more Cats in the pipeline.  Cats, not catfish, they are bottom feeders.  Glad I'm on the schedule - can't wait.

Wow, I plunk down the editorial "we" and people jump all over me. Sorry, I guess I was completely off-base about RR1's gender. Misremembered an old thread.

Despite the "Marcella" in my name-- and the fact that I've occasionally been referred to as "sweetie" and "honey" by other posters here-- I am a dude, so maybe that's the source of my inner gender confusion.
