This is a song that rab2591 and I have been working on for several weeks.  It's a simple little pop song.  If you have a moment, have a listen and leave your feedback on the song, the production, etc.

*It should be noted that while I wrote the song, rab2591 contributed some significant elements to what I originally wrote, in addition to producing, recording, and playing all of the instruments.

Nice stuff here! It sounds modern while maintaining that old school feel and sensibility!
Very good, we've gotta Collab as a team sometime too :D

Extremely catchy chorus. Absolutely love the chorus melody and background music. I will be listening to this all day.

The lyrics give me Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen) vibes.

I have liked this song on Soundcloud and if you like this comment you will be able to keep it. Period.

That's a very cool song. There seems to be an e-collab frenzy around these parts lately, huh?  Grin

I really dig the glockenspiel that is featured in the intro and in other parts. Unlike Swedish Silver Surfer, the verse melody is what sticks out for me & what I hear as the catchiest part. To each his own, I guess.

Congratulations on a job well done & hoping to hear more joint work from the two of you.

Thanks to everyone for listening and commenting.

Zach: It sounds like classic rab to my ears, at least the verses, though he did say it is in a different key than he usually sings.

FOTM: A collaboration sounds like a great idea.  Just know I get to do the easy part, write, you have to do all of the hard stuff. Smiley  Actually I'd be happy to do the recording, but I'm a total hack with it.  Maybe you can teach me.  Smiley

Swedish Silver Surfer: Rab did a great job with the chorus, I agree, and the verses, and everything.  I am happy with the original song I sent to him (just me doubling myself on guitar and vocals), but he took it to another level.  I am extremely impressed with his work.  Oh, and I like your comment and will be happy to keep it.

kwan_dk: There have been a lot of e-collaborations lately and I am glad I got in on the fun.

Woodstock/ORR: Thank you both for weighing in.  It is great to get feedback from as many people as possible.

Nice job, I liked. Almost didn't recognize the voice as rab's, sounds very different than his usual.

Technically it is not Rab. He was replaced with a clone late last week by the White Dragon Society along with members of the Knights of the Silver Sword. Two operatives from the Brethren of the White Robe have since re-programmed the clone and Rab was able to sing the outro of the song just like initially planned.

MPS's original is a great acoustic piece - I think we're still planning on doing an all acoustic version of the song.

Thanks everyone for listening!

@Swedish Frog: That clone business was top secret - I now have to self destruct......
