Coincidentally, I popped in the Phoenix DVD last night. Some good moments but cringed at the very sterile mix. Mike's vocal overdub didn't help matters either. The Chiba show may be the run of the mill greatest hits show but at least it has a PULSE and looks/feels like the show I attended on that great tour.

It says it was taken down by the user. Maybe a copyright notice popped up and he opted to remove the videos instead of "acknowledging the copyright claim" - which would have allowed him to keep the videos up, just with ads.
Either way I hope it pops up again. I was thinking about grabbing it too, to fix the audio sync...

Perhaps someone who knows the legal side of youtube requirements could contact the guy. Was really looking forward to seeing the rest of the video.
BTW. It would seem there are no smileysmilers from Japan judging by how little info we got about this TV show last year.

I tried to do some digging and unfortunately I couldn't find the video but I did find this page which at least clears up where the video came from. I almost got excited that I'd found a stream of the concert but it doesn't seem to be there. http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv103144596I'm surprised it hasn't widely circulated. I'd really love to see the whole thing. Even before the YouTube videos were quickly taken down, there were only small portions of the concert uploaded. |
