"The shows are featuring all the hits that fans, both casual and serious, would expect, but we're also delving into some rare cuts as well, adding some songs that have rarely, if ever, been performed live.

We also have the opportunity to highlight Al and David's contribution to the Beach Boys music, particularly Al's vocal power and David's seminal surf guitar style.

Having had an extended break, Brian and the band are really stoked to get out and play!"

"rarely, if ever, been performed live" SONGS !!!!!!!!

Sounds like he's describing a Mike & Bruce show!

 LOL

That's a lot truer than most folks probably realize! They seem to playing songs like Wild Honey, The Warmth of The Sun, etc. regularly this year!!! Even got Bluebirds Over The Mountain for Paris!

Don't know if Al gets any say in the setlist, but I remember in one of the C50 interviews he mentioned wanting to do "Farmer's Daughter"

Had hoped for that during C50.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

I'm hoping Jeff allows Honkin' Down The Highway to be included in the setlist. We all know how much he is a fan of Love You. Wink

It would be great to see some Love You and Adult/Child stuff, but that's probably a long shot.

Al singing the song he remembers as being Do You Like Worms ?
Al singing Heroes with Great Shape as the middle 8 and then crawling on the stage making animal noises for the Barnyard fade.

Just play the whole damn Wild Honey album and throw in a coupla hits.

Or Sunflower.

Or Love You.

Or Brian Wilson '88.

And have Brian sing Lonely Sea and Farmer's Daughter.

And put Taylor Mills up front dead center with a spotlight on her the whole time........

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!
