I've been really checking out a lot of great Canadian bands, ie The Arcade Fire, Wolf Parade, Stars, The New Pornographers, Elliot Brood and Fiest among others.
I've never heard of them.  What era are they from? Are they local bands?

The Arcade Fire, Wolf Parade and Stars are from Montreal, The New Pornographers are from Vancouver and Elliot Brood and Fiest I think are from Ontario, they're all fairly new talents, you should check them out Laurie...and Luther you were expecting Loverboy? Roll Eyes

No Quarter - Led Zeppelin

Not so sure about the effects on the vocals, but still creepy as all hell.

And yet I'm all over it.  Maybe I can do some rewrites for her.  She mentions Vivienne Westwood a lot.  How about "Luxurious like Egyptian cotton / I'm hung like Johnny Rotten."

I hate what Gwen Stefani did with "If I were a rich man".

I am now listening to "Come Talk to Me" by Peter Gabriel, I love this.
