Speaking of New Orleans music, I've really gotten into a band called Tuba Skinny lately. They started out as street musicians there but have gone on to record albums and tour the U.S. and overseas. My parents both liked New Orleans-style jazz aka Dixieland jazz and I remember hearing bands as a kid at festivals. Their most recent album, Some-Kinda-Shake, is really good.
