Love him so much. Such an important figure in American music. So, so powerful.

WHO'S GONNA PLAY THIS OLD PIANO?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1k9Ncs5YSPw

This is a great Jerry Lewis track. Or, it coulda' been....a
There are *two* instrumental breaks --both of them feature 'old-tyme' dixieland  clarinets where you can barely hear any piano. That is perverse.

This is my first non-greatest hits album by them. PRetty good stuff I think . I can't decide if I should play it once more right away here.... it's quite short I probably should. IT's got that Alice Cooper-sound.  guitars? sound  great. Well played . And well recorded ,yet not too busy, either.
am I ashamed I waited so long to dive in ? No - Greatest Hits is just that good . Maybe I'll renounce Live It to Death even, just to prove it! and I'll return to a sheltered existence once more!!

Touch My Body (Remix) - Mariah Carey featuring Rick Ross and The-Dream

I really like this. Always makes me feel happy. Not entirely on board with album length Rick Ross, but he can certainly add a powerful flavour to a track.

A couple of things today.

Cooly G - Wait Til Night

Just out the other day. I wanted to like this more than I did. Never took off and only a couple of tracks where I got into it at all. I liked some of her earlier stuff I heard but this wasn't great. Might give it another go tomorrow.

Wait Till Night

MellowHype - Numbers

Listening to this. A couple of the Odd Future associated people, featuring Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler doing a bit of production. You know what? This is really fucking good. Opening track suggests that things are going to be pretty standard and boring hollow bragging but then the thing opens up and throws a whole bunch of different sounds at you. Engaging as all hell.

65 Live

Astro featuring Frank Ocean

An underrated band.

Not underrated here (Minnesota, their home territory). If anything, they're overrated here, treated like an all-time great, essential band. I like them, but not on that "legendary" level.
