"We Will Fall" is the best song on there.

Two things really sticking in my head and getting repeated listens so far this morning.

Eric Carmen's "Hey Deanie," the best Beach Boys song of the '70s not to be a Beach Boys song.

And, maybe because it's Independence Day in the US, Brother Ali's "Letter To My Countrymen," which actually chokes me up a little bit, a nice combination of idealism, criticism, and optimism (from a hometown artist).

Yep, sorry. That's 2 link mistakes that day. I'd say I should sober up but that's an awful idea.

NICE!!

As for me:

One of Zimmer's best and most inspired scores. Can't stand the guy personally but he's got some amazing work under his belt.

Great movie.

One of my absolute favorite movies. Malick is one hell of a director. And, have to agree with Lowbacca, it's one of Zimmer's best scores.

"ragegasm" - /rāj • ga-zəm/ : a logical mental response produced when your favorite band becomes remotely associated with the bro-country genre.

Ever want to hear some Beach Boys songs mashed up together like The Beatles' 'LOVE' album? Check out my mix!

I need to buy Badlands and Days of Heaven. The former I rent from the library every once in awhile. The latter is always on TV.  I love those films.

Days of Heaven is great. I haven't seen Badlands though - is that one worth buying? I'm hesitant given the subject of the film...

If you liked Days of Heaven you'll like Badlands. It's not a the Charles Starkweather-story, if that's what your getting at...it's real purdy and everything, just like Days Of HEaven....
is this a subtle nod to the "can't enjoy the Chalres Manson" threads ...  Huh

Haha no, just didn't know if the movie was solely about murder. I'll definitely check it out!
