Great album, great summer music.  It's actually 55 degrees here today, so why not?

Chuck Berry -- "Maybelline"

Is there a distortion on the master tape, or is something wrong with my CD?

Master.

Thanks!  That's kind of a relief.  I don't know how I missed it until recently.  Now it's really fucking annoying.

Man, I had no idea that song was about heroin addiction.  I just love the way it sounds.  I'll have to crank it up louder and listen to the words.

Disc 3 of the Pet Sounds Box....the alternate takes

If you haven't heard this in a while........have another listen.  I'd forgotten how entertaining it is.   Sax solo on God Only Knows, Carl on Lead on SJB, Mike doing Brian parts, different mixes....try it again
