No worries, all "rare" songs have been recorded for posterity ;-)
Although my cards got full in the middle of two songs... and guess which ones of all songs??

Just came back. on mobile. will be brief.
heavily recorded, one big camera on stage, two under the stage, small fixed cameras pointed at eaxh person on stage.
61 songs: Our Prayer, Summer's Gone, Little Girl I Once Knew, Still Cruisin, Pet Sounds, Add Some Music, etc.
Best BB-related show I have ever seen, beside Smile premiere.
I like the sound of that! I sure hope we get a nice chunk of this show. There is somehing so damn right about having the Beach Boys perform this venue. I'd love to see it myself.

The only way it'd be worth the teasing is that you know that
another
song will be performed in its place.....

Our Prayer was in. Night closed with second encore - Summer's Gone.
Folks sat in front of us talked through Our Prayer, heroes and then some. They seemed to be with the band - accents, handbags etc.
Incredible night though - nothing could spool it.
Wouldn't be surprised if you were near Mike's family, Ambha, Emily and Colin Love.
They come across are extremely arrogant and conceited. "Driving my dad's bentley" etc
Boy, now we are trashing the Love children, too? Un-f***ing-believable!
Easy, I'm not a Mike hater by any stretch of the imagination.
I just know they were at the gig and they were tweeting how they weren't exactly sober due to the "open bar" backstage. Pretty classy
Drunk at a rock and roll show? Inconceivable!

I guess what I mean is it's laughable to suggest that this is a rock and roll show that invokes a lot of drinking and debauchery. It's a pretty family friendly, mild affair and certainly not what I would call "rock and roll."

people get drunk at the symphony for that matter. people get drunk while eating dinner sometimes. it's a really common behavior.

It's not about what I'd call it or what genre it is. It's about the implication that "oh man it's a rock and roll show, everybody gets drunk at those." I'd call it a concert.

It's so good to hear the performance of "Summer's Gone"!
I was hoping that after the 50th Anniversary tour, they would do a smaller tour in promotion for the new album, which I really have been enjoying. Probably not too likely, but it'd be great to hear some of the new songs live.
Thanks for sharing the clip!

I get that it happens but people payed through the nose for those tickets, the Albert hall is a pretty classy venue and it's also a very special concert for some..
Not being loud and obnoxious and sparing a thought for the other people there isn't asking a lot. I'm sure you've experienced loud and obnoxious people at gigs or elsewhere, it's pretty irritating
Anyway on a more important note: Summer's gone sounded great

I attended many a Beach Boys concert where more than liquor permeated the air in the venues. No Smoking laws today are for more than just cigarettes.

Am I missing something or is Mike not on stage at all for the song and the final bows?
And also...that is one kick ass way to end a concert. Well done, Mike for making it the final song of the night. Touching.
