Also, Gertie, Brian had absolutely no involvement in Summer In Paradise at all. Unless they played the title track at the few shows during the 90's Brian was present for (weren't there a few during the S&S era), he's probably never heard any at all from it. Why would he? It's garbage.

Love You was almost entirely his baby, though. Summer In Paradise was Mike's, and Brian is absolutely nowhere on the album. It was a confusing time for Mr.Wilson personally, too. It wouldn't shock me if Brian didn't know what Summer In Paradise was until played "Summer Of Love" or told "It was the 1992 album you had nothing to do with that John Stamos was on" or something. |
