This is my favorite Soundcloud in the world.
Thank you.

I try my best to do my worst Grin

I was just rockin' out to Help Me, Rhonda
Hahahaha.
Your Mike Love parts are hilarious.

God, I did that so long ago! (Just over a year actually, but was only the second one I completed after I Get Around, which originally had a few differences, mainly the 'falsetto' vocal)

Will you just do Shortenin' Bread for me?
Hahahahaha!

Can't do the whole song (Too Lazy), but you can have a bit of the Mike bit since it's quick Grin Have your HM,R Bass Vocals too, although I appear to have done the higher 'caught my eye' in that part too Grin

Brilliant stuff... got a big kick out of this. I need to hear you do Drip Drop....

Kind of reminded me of something similar I did a while back. I was extremely depressed, and ended up smoking a whole bunch of herb, and drinking vodka. I normally don't drink at all (not even 'socially') but was in a bad place. I ended up recoding a whole cd's worth of karaoke recordings where I completely butchered various songs. I even bust out the 'Edith Bunker' voice a couple of times. Despite the circumstances, I can laugh my ass of at it now.

And no, I'm not posting it , although if someone is that desperate for a laugh I may send it to someone who requests it via PM.

Seriously, we should just change the topic of this post to "Fred Shreds the Beach Boys".  Freddie, you sound almost as good as the band Creed!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ms61I54CeQA

Okay, I've finally cracked and done the song that is very near and dear to my heart. I've tried not to take the mickey out of it, but it's still very Freddie-esque for your listening pleasure Horror!

Yeah, i was considering doing those, then realised that the fact I tend to sing lower due to the poor nature of my voice sort of cancels the need for those parts out - it's not complete vocally

Not specifically beach Boys songs, but I recently partook in doing 2 songs (Mika's Grace Kelly and Katy Parry's California Gurls [With a friend, Will]) Live to the backing tracks (with biths of Freddie on the tracks). Find them here! :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxFp-wex3OQ&feature=youtu.be

I recently acquired an autotune plugin for audacity, and have had an overprocessingly fun time with some of my tracks - here are two 'highlights':

Our Prayer [Heavily Autotuned Freddie]: http://soundcloud.com/moar-freddie/our-prayer-autotuned-freddie
Don't Back Down [Heavily Autotuned Freddie]: http://soundcloud.com/moar-freddie/dont-back-down-autotuned

Don't Back Down [Heavily Autotuned Freddie]: http://soundcloud.com/moar-freddie/dont-back-down-autotuned

I don't know which version of Don't Back Down is more heavily doused in autotune: yours or the 50th Anniversary Live album version.

btw, LOL hilarious as always!

I realised eaxctly what you meant when I even tried to used it to the subtle extent - it still sounds, erm, like a Freddie song Wink

not ebing religious in the slightest makes The Lords prayer the best comedy option for me Wink When I do it I'll upload both 'clean' and Tuned versions

A) M as in 'Mr Moustachio' although F-PAIN is also admissible if a little risque.

B) Wrinkles. Friends. Auto tune yr Good Vibrations (you did have one, didn't you? If not, do that!)

May I also suggest using Microsoft Songkick to create wholly inappropriate backing tracks?

Nothing wrong with a bit of F-Pain Wink

I used my FJFPPSMiLE version as I believe the vocal was better, but the double tracking does still cover up some of the AT.

Good Vibrations [Heavily Autotuned Freddie]:http://soundcloud.com/moar-freddie/good-vibrations-autotuned

Also, if anyone wants the Audacity project files to dig into the tracks [By god some of the individual bits make no sense] then by all means ask and I'll try and DropBox some of them.

Also, Fun Fact #1: The third verse and chorus of 'Don't Back Down' was recorded a couple of days after the first 2, hence the more direct vocal, and heavier inflection on the third 'Guts'. This never usually works, yet here it it did!

Fun Fact #2: The first high bit in Gv [IIIIIII, I ONLY LOOKED] is an edit into 'in her eyes' simply as my double tracking failed originally, but on the second verse [It's WEEEEIIIIIIIRD, HOW SHE COMES] is a continuous vocal into 'in so strong'

Fun Fact #3: the FJFPPSMiLE Good Vibes was half taken from the second version I did of the track [posted in the OP] with the first 2 Verses and 2 chorus' newly recorded with a better vocal and the demo lyrics. A couple of BV's were left in the Chorus', and the second half had one or 2 new overdubs, but I feel this is mainly clear due to the use of Echo on the Second version, but not the FJFPPS version.
