It's Saturday, what did you do today?

I did nothing all day really. My dog woke me up around 11am, I had some toast, turned on the TV, watched Survivorman and sat in awe at Les' ingenuity and then I wondered if he was a fake, went on the computer, got the Smiley Smile sessions, listened, then listened to "When Girls Get Together" about 500 times in a row, made a milkshake, read some articles on Wiki about nothing worth mentioning, looked at internet porn, did activity that usually follows gladly, watched some TV again, this time cartoons, while listening I read some of my book, came back on the computer, sat about like a moron, talked to a few people, talked to some more people, thought about how I don't leave the house anymore, wondered how my new neighbors are as people, listened to more "When Girls Get Together", wondered if it was written after hearing "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" by John Lennon, stopped wondering, wondered about the reality of the average human, if our sense of freedom and personality is merely the trappings of an ant governed by smells and the Queen Ant, stopped wondering, started wondering about some more things, wondered a little bit more, and some more, made another milkshake, had some pizza, came back on the computer, went to Smiley Smile, clicked new topic, started writing, kept on writing, am still writing, can't stop writing, maybe this will never stop, is this what life is about?; have I now stumbled upon the meaning of life?; still kept on writing, spoke of it in the past tense though it is or was still happened or happened now or before.

You?

It's my 24th birthday. Unfortunately, we also got news that one of my beautiful cousins has died in a car accident this morning.

So I'm drinking.  Beer

Leaving to South Beach soon with my brothers...

take care.

Hey! Happy Birthday man! 24? I thought you were my age for some reason. Where's your Pet Sounds then?  Roll Eyes I'm sorry to hear about your cousin, those things happen and are a terrible loss to everyone. Don't hide the pain with alcohol for too long though. Hope things work out okay with your family concerning the whole thing.

I went on a wild hunt for "The Sorrows of Young Werther" at Steve's insistence, only to returned hot, frustrated, annoyed at the mall parking, and empty handed. I got it on Amazon for 5.25 including the shipping.

It's SO worth the mall visits.

Sorry to hear about your cousin, amosario.  We'll pray for comfort for your family and a safe trip for you.

I updated my comiclist site to a blog:

www.comiclist.com

It should save me some time on future updates to that site.

Let's see: Listened to the Smiley Smile Sessions today, soaked them up and started on my own take of "Gettin' Hungry". Need to polish the backing track. Then, had some dinner and went shopping and bought two pairs of shorts, and a very comfortable pair of sandles. watched a movie, and am now heading to bed.

How I spent my Saturday...Pushed a bunch of shopping carts around, pushed a guy in his wheelchair back to his apartment--the only thing harder than pushing him uphill was trying to keep him from rolling DOWNhill...Had a gig, I'm part of an acoustic trio, among other musical endeavors...A semi legend in one neighborhood, the bottom of the food chain in the other...it's a question of balance I guess...

spent all saturday in carmel. getting married there in july. gave the photographer a deposit and found out he's written a couple of books!, checked out the reception banquet facilities, went shopping on ocean ave., tried out my nos olympus pen camera while my fiance tried out her new digital, went to the blackhawk auto museum (way kewl) on the way home, decompressed after the drive by watching chronicles of riddick. woke up today and started downloading all of cabana boy's (huge shoutout) yousendit links while washing my cars and cleaning house. later i'll be getting ready for work next week by doing lesson plans and reviewing state standards. i'll relax tonight by working on a new song. happy easter, all!

Today was mildly eventful. Completed some work that was needed to be done, went on this forum and a Pink Floyd forum. In fact I kinda haven't been on here as much because I've been on the Pink Floyd forum a lot more, plus I'm on the verge of maybe becoming a mod there as there is a desperate need for new mods there.

Finally got the Stone Alone biography by Bill Wyman, been reading that a lot. The man is very interesting, and it's interesting to read about his childhood which was "scarred by poverty". Been playing on my Gameboy, watched a bit of Arrested Development. And that's pretty much it. Just relaxing during my school holidays.

As a proud Madcap (Syd fan), I disagree with both of you. Though if I had to choose between the two of you, I'll go with Woodstock and Waters.

Yeah, whatever. A member of the Madcap Army. A Madcap, a Barrettista, or whatever. I'm a Barrett fan, simple as that.
