TWGMTR
's reversed direction, back up to #28 from #46, in its fifth week.
Additionally:
2003's
Sounds Of Summer
's jumped to #82, from #128.
1995's
Greatest Hits Volume 1: 20 Good Vibrations
re-enters, at #173.
When'd they last have three charting LPs, compilations or otherwise? 1976?

Coincidentally, these are the three BB cd's that can be found at WalMart.

Is TWGMTR still on the Adult Contemporary Chart? I know it was #30 last week.

how are the hits collections constantly selling? shouldn't everyone who was going to buy a Beach Boys compilation have bought it buy now? how many nostalgic baby boomers don't have a Beach Boys compilation but are planning on purchasing one in the near future? SHOULDN'T BE ENOUGH TO CHART.

Every time you spell Smile as SMiLE, an angel's wings are forcibly torn off its body.

New fans. Gifts for others. Sheer excitement of the reunion for some.

amazon had a month long $5 download sale in april on greatest hits vol 1. it has been entering the top 200 lp chart off and on since then. actually was in amazon's top 20 d/l lp's a lot of the time in april because of that $5 sale.

If you're into good, old fashioned pop music it's hard to not like at least a few Beach Boys songs. You don't have to be a fan to enjoy 'California Girls', 'I Get Around' or 'Good Vibrations' when it comes on the radio on a hot Summer day, right? I think there are still thousands of people who are casually interested in some Beach Boys music, who need just that last little push before they'll pick up that greatest hits CD that they saw at the local record store. And well, I guess a lot of those last little pushes have been given lately.

Yeah, it debuted last week at #30. Billboard's website for the AC chart only shows the top 15 unless you pay, so I was hoping that had full access knew if it had gone up or dropped off.
