Seriously, we shouldn't be aiming to recreate BW productions/arrangements specifically! After all, your Little Bird doesn't and it's the better for it. That would render it pointless. I really think this song suits that laid back vibe, especially if you try singing along to it in a really relaxed way. Try it!

Of course. After all, we are (semi, in my case) talented musicians, and to work with material like this is a pleasure, not just an exercise in how well you can hear that 2nd oboe line. I do hope a bunch of really inventive covers can come out of this.

Speaking of which, who was doing Stevie and where's my track?! I wanna sing that too badly.

I've been tinkering with so many variations on Break Away, I can't decide which one I want to go with. I wanted to do one with some really complex riffs built around the main chords, but I'm currently really grooving on a version in the style of Long Promised Road--mellow verse, rocking chorus, trippy bridge.  That might be the one I land on.

ahh i've been up to my ears with work for the last couple weeks and haven't had a chance to turn to this at all. i can see the light at the end of the tunnel though, so i'm going to try to get some work done this weekend. Little Bird backing parts are almost ready to be distributed.. have we gotten a drum part or lead vocal yet, by any chance?
