I was listening to "TWGMTR" tonight and really started wondering what happened to the bridge vocals of "SV". Reading the liner notes, the lyrics read only "Every night's a special occasion" but I can definitely hear Mike singing a second line ending with "...won't take much persuasion". However, the first half of the line is totally drowned out. I find it strange they would include those vocals on the album in such poorly-mixed quality and yet exclude the rest of the lyrics from the liner notes. What happened there?

This is something I've wondered about as well. I thought it said something like "different persuasion." It sounds very rushed and like they were on a deadline imo.

Thanks. I'd still like to know why the vocals are mixed so poorly on the bridge, and why that first line was left out of the liner notes, though.

There are several missing lines and incorrect transcriptions in the lyric sheet. It's a mess. The mix is kind of a mystery. But we won't know unless Frank Pappalardo or JT speak about it.

I think the bridge is cool, I feel like they did it on purpose to be interesting.

Exactly, I'm sure there are any number of very good reasons why they mixed it the way they did.

A bit OT, but is there a difference in the single/album mixes of TWGMTR (song) or is this the same mix in both places? I vaguely recall this being discussed elsewhere but can not find the answer.

I think it's a mistake due to time constrictions. Note that also is a very clumsy edit in "From there to back again".

It's been suggested there is an extra keyboard or something on the album version. Not sure if I can hear that, myself. The two versions do seem to be mastered (possibly mixed) somewhat differently -- the single seems to be more compressed.

Where? In Al's vocal track: "wi - with me". I was a tad befuddled when this one first got out - sounded like "WHY DONT U RUN AWAY AND SPEND SOME TIME WITH ITHME?" or something, so much so that I made a post asking what the lyric was before realizing it just sounded really odd. I'm not even sure if it's an error, specifically.
