I just heard the alternate backing track for Slip on Through for the first time and was absolutely blown away.  I love the soul arrangement and the saxes during the chorus.  The drums are probably the most powerful drums I've ever heard on a Beach Boys Recording (except maybe Stevie). I kinda wish they used this backing tracking instead of the one they used on Sunflower.

I'd love to hear this.  I always thought that this was a great, unusual kind of song for the Beach Boys.  Too bad it flopped as a single.
