Hey guys, I took almost ALL of your feedback from my last works, and I'm working hard on my next album!

Here's the single, a VERY SMiLE-esque song, titled "Half Asleep". The mix and harmonies have been tweaked to as close to
perfection as a lone 15 year old can probably do.

Enjoy, and please support me when the album is released (On AMAZON!) Later this year!

The video, BTW, is a pseudo parody of the SMiLE-Era Videos, haha!

That was really cool! It (the song) reminded me of "I Went To Sleep" Excellent stuff.

Thanks! That was a major source of inspiration.
I heard the "Hawthorne" Version and nearly died, I said "I've gotta do something like that!!!"

Thanks! My new album is a suite, not just a song cycle like last time, constant music, that's why this fades in and out :D

Wow, this is so cool! GREAT song. The 'Friends'-era influence is pretty obvious but your take on that sound come across beautifully. Top notch!

THANK YOU FOR NOTICING!!! I'm using everything live except the keyboard, because my piano is above my studio, and isn't easy to record....

Thanks!

I was going to reply with "I love it!", but hypehat beat me to it .  Grin Where were you in 1966-7? Brian could have used you!!  Cool

I've listened to quite a few songs by aspiring message board musicians over the years, and this stands out as among the best. You've got a lot of talent. 90% of the time, amateurs sound like amateurs. Not just in the production--that's to be expected, and is not important to me--but in the songwriting. This, however, is very good, and it's obvious you can write some great music. Good luck!

I'm hoping that one day I can have a real engineer mix my albums with me :D

Thanks a ton! Maybe tell that to a record company?! Haha... Maybe I can use my age to turn kids/teens back on to real music!

Also, not that it counts for much, but this was recorded in a studio that cost barely $1000 to build, the same as an hour of pro studio time :D just saying haha

Sure, I'll tell whoever you want. I'll even sign it with real ink. Course, my endorsement probably ain't worth said ink, nor the paper it'd be written on  LOL

Unfortunately most people with real taste have the same problem Smiley

Just want everyone to know that I'm actually remixing the whole thing in stereo because you guys really seemed to know what I should do and it sounds A TON better, this song was barely touched because its already stereo and sounds probably the best the current recording could Smiley

I've grown a lot since then, and any sales go toward the next large growth! Help out! hahaha!
