The Beach Boys Fanc Club is reporting that Al's solo album will be released on CD format on October 4th with three bonus tracks.  One of the tracks is suppose to have Carl Wilson vocals.  Does anyone know what these bonus tracks will be?  I would guess that "California Dreamin" will be one of them.

"Waves of Love" is the song with Carl Wilson on backing vocals. And, yes, "California Dreamin'" is another one of the bonus tracks.

My info is that Carl sings lead on "Waves OF Love" (see latest ESQ) - another bonus track is Alan's reworking of "Sloop John B" for his book A Pirate's Tale.

I know this always comes up, so I'm sorry for doing it again (no pun), but I'd really love if they would save these recordings with Carl for the reunion album (which hopefully will happen) and release the original versions as bonus tracks afterwards

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.
