Here's another interview.  I couldn't even read it; I was too distracted by what has to be one of the worst pictures of Mike and Bruce I've ever seen.  And who the hell are the guys behind them?

Honestly, how does Mike do it?  By 'do it', I mean, how does he give the same damn interview to the same half-assed reporters in these small towns all across the u.s., for 50 FRIEKIN YEARS about the same exact questions?

A. Why is your music popular?

B. What's your favorite song

blah blah blah and he answers the questions IN EVERY TOWN, EVERY YEAR, OVER AND OVER AGAIN.  I would have gone insane by now.  Maybe he already has.

I counted 'my cousin Brian' 3 times.

In the full transcript, I actually count 'Cousin Brian'  seven times... and one 'Cousin Carl.' 

What is Dennis... chopped liver in the cousin-name-dropping department?

None of the interviewers know who he is, so he probably never gets asked about.     He didn't sing as prominently in the group, either, so Mike can't mention that like he did with Carl.  I've got friends who aren't into the Beach Boys and when you mention Dennis, you get this blank stare.  They know nothing about him.  Don't even know that he died.  When you mention Carl, you can say "He's the guy who sang Good Vibrations" and they go "Ooooohhhhhh".
