I just had a thought about what merchandise I'd love to see at a reunion concert. How about:

- a reprint (right word?) of the "Keep it clean with Al Jardine"-T-shirt

- "I know Brian's dad"-buttons   (I really, really want one of those !!)

What would be your favorites or ideas?

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Classic Striped shirts and a new t-shirt design with the band circa 1964.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

The BW "Help me Rhonda" t-shirt.

I like the Beatles a bit more than the Boys of Beach, I think Brian's band is the tops---really amazing. And finally, I'm liberal. That's it.

The BW "Help me Rhonda" t-shirt.
Brian should wear that on stage if the reunion happens.

A blue bathrobe. I am thinking 1976 here. Yes. That would do the trick.

The turban......there has to be a turban!

The bathrobe is an awesome idea, though-especially if it came with 2 optional police officer uniforms so that your friends could drag you out of bed

Great suggestions folks ! What about Mike's Maharishi-robe ?
And one of those shirts that Dennis used in concerts in his later years. They really look great !

LOL amazing... although the price point is a bit steep. Does it come with BW's sweat in it, or something? His DNA might be on it.

A t-shirt featuring all 9 Beach Boys (using photos of them when they looked their individual best, eg Brian 1966, Carl 1970 etc) would be awesome.

You forgot John Stamos, AGD's personal favourite.

Is Al wearing Bruce's shorts?!

Don't know if that particular pair belonged to Bruce, but until you mentioned it, I'd forgotten about the 'official' Beach Boy shorts!  You can just barely see the logo down by his left hand

Those are real 70's - 80's classic piped white shorts...for jogging, hoop, etc...

Can't see the logo that Ed pointed out, but surely it is there!

You can see Dennis football-style shirt as well, very popular 80's memorabilia...have an old one somewhere...

My kids laugh at those shorts!  I still think they are cool...must be the Generation Gap we complained about!  LOL

100% real - I don't think you can still order one from an official merchandise site, but for a while you could. If I remember correctly they were first put up for sale during the 2007 TLOS shows.

Edit: or maybe you can... http://www.chasermerch.com/home/brianwilson/accessories/brian-wilson-embroiderd-kimono-robe.html

I still have mine.  Lime green. And they are longer than that..more like regular short length of the time.  Of course, I can't remember the last time I was able to fit into them Roll Eyes

There was a really nice black shirt with the Eye magazine photo of Brian, surrounded by a foil sunburst design, being sold at some of the 2004 Smile concerts and on his website later in limited sizes. I made the mistake of buying a different item at the show, then thought about it later and regretted it, still do. Would love to have another opportunity to get one of those (XXL, in case a miracle is in the offing). Sad
