Love the artwork of the BB's...reminds me of Mad Magazine.  Any chance of posting a larger version of that?  I'd love to have it on a shirt.

If you click on view image (on a mac) you'll get an image three times larger.  Seeing them larger is even more impressive.  Superb job earcandy!

Wondering where the BB drawings came from?

Compliments from me too! I must admit that for a couple of seconds...  Embarrassed   noooo, never mind   Grin

I love the detail, like the almost offhanded addition "7.03 version" that comes with H&V...

For the 90% of us who have a PC... right click on image, click 'view image', left click to enlarge.

Earcandy. Someone needs to be collecting your stuff for a book.

You should be sending your work to graphic art companies, one of whom I am sure would jump at the chance of employing you.

Without detracting from Earcandy's triumps for one nano-iota:

why do Americans so often write: Heroes and Villians? The misspelling is endemic.

I believe it was spelled that way on the '66 mock-up back cover:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/140/bigsmileback300dping6.jpg/

It's probably been adopted by the cognoscenti in the same way that the caps/lower case "i" blend in SMiLE has, or the way those who attain the summits of all Scotland's 3000ft mountains are said to have "compleated" the Munros.

I can't remember where I found that cartoon pic, but I do remember how - google images search of "Beach Boys cartoons".  That's how I find most of my images to use.

Wasn't the source/cause of that spelling the handwritten song listings submitted to Capitol?  I guess they took it verbatim from the misspelling on the list?

More great stuff from Ear Candy!

Sent your "Beatles vs Beach Boys" and "Smile on 8 Track" to a few people.  The artwork was so well done that they actually believed both.

Keep it coming!

OK - it should say "Bealtes vs Beach Boys" in my post above!  Tried modifying it a few times, but the mod never sticks and it keeps coming back as "Peedles vs Beach Boys".  Gotta stop proofreading my messages after I post 'em!  Maybe I'll try another mod again later today.

Endemic is a massive understatement: I have a setlist used by Brian's band during the TLOS shows in September 2007 - they spell it "Heroes and Villians" too.  Shocked

Perhaps Brian originally wrote it as Heroes and Villians, hence it's not mispelled.

It has to be said that they're as big, if not greater SMiLE nerds than what we is!  I'm sure that on the Brian's Birthday Party rehearsals they can be heard occasionally quoting phrases previously heard on the SoT Smile sessions CDs…
