I lost my dad in 2009. It wasn't quite as "sudden" as with your dad, Denni...but I know what it's like to have somebody in your life one day...and then not. I'm not going to sugar coat it...it will be hard for a while. But one day. it'll start to get a little easier. I promise.  You know how to contact me if you ever need somebody to talk to.  |

I lost my Dad very suddenly as well Denni, so I can (unfortunately) relate to what you're feeling - I know there's nothing anyone can say to make it better, but in my experience the best thing you can do is stay close to family and try to remember all the good times. Time does a lot to ease the pain, and as hard as it is to believe now, there will come a day when the happy memories outweigh the pain. Stay strong Denni |
