Why is this released in stores November 2nd here in Sweden??? I called the Pet Sounds record store here in Stockholm and they weren't sure when it'd arrive. How come these goshdarn germans (no offense) get to buy it several days before?

I just cancelled my crappy Ginza order and ordered it from amazon.de. I don't understand a word from that site but I think it'll work. They'll send it tomorrow and it'll arrive in 1-2 days.

Since none of us but Carol and Brian were involved in that convo though, maybe, unheard by us, Brian wrote "Carol, you're exactly right.  Don't tell anybody" on a piece of paper and held it up to the window.  Could have happened.  In other words, I'm going to trust Carol, lol.

I think honestly they just do that to make it easier to distribute.  If they've got a guy at a warehouse trying to ship all these albums out, it's easier on that guy if he has to ship these 10 countries all theirs this week, and these 10 countries next week, and blah blah blah instead of saying "EVERY RECORD STORE IN EVERY COUNTRY HAS TO HAVE THEM TUESDAY!!!!!".

My record shop told me it hasn't arrived yet. Earlier this week they said it sometimes arrives a day early.

Just alter the shipping and the price should be saved.  I changed my mind a dozen times regarding shipping but the $110 price always held good. Until today when I cancelled the order altogether.

Thanks! Although, I thought of something else: I'm also concerned that by changing shipping speeds it could change my place in line....I'd still get two-day/one-day shipping but that doesn't mean it will leave the warehouse the day of release (especially if I screw around with the shipping speed)....does it? Idk. I think I'll just wait it out. I normally get items 2 days after I order with free 5-7 day shipping.

Even after years of using Amazon this is my first pre-order from them so I'm a bit paranoid haha

$111 is a bargain. I will have to be patient though, as shipping will take some time I guess. But they charge at least €149 for the box here in the Netherlands. Including shipping with the current exchange rate it costs me €87,-. Even with shipping customs duty I'll probably end up at around €110,-

I did order the 2CD and 2LP already at my local record shop though. Can probably pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

Getting antsy....some Amazoners have had theirs ship; mine hasn't...ordered when the pre-order price went up the first time...and I've since modified the payment type to include a gift card...hope that doesn't bump me back.

(The good news, however, is I DID just get my copy of not only In The Key Of Disney from Amazon but also Polka Party!, so that should tide me over, right??  RIGHT???)
