...isn't it amazing? I just discovered what was actually sung in this line, by googling for the lyrics. I always thought I heard the name 'Korthoff', but thought I was wrong... and I never bothered to investigate earlier...

...any more such fun stuff floating in the catalogue?

Not the Parks most folk assume it is. Jon Parks, then road manager.  Smiley

What, may I ask, did you actually sing during that part before your google discovery?

^^ But more to the point, how do you feel about being given the cold shoulder by The Beach Boys?

All roads lead to Kokomo. Exhaustive research in time travel has conclusively proven that there is no alternate universe WITHOUT Kokomo. It would've happened regardless.
What is this "life" thing you speak of ?

LOL eh... No course from cold off, hearts oh will oh...

I did not make this up, it is the closest I can come. If only I had the  transcript of the pseud-Amerenglish phonemes I sang along with Zager & Evans: In The Year 2525... I didn't know English then, but did my best.

Hmmm, didn't feel like that. I thought it was funny to give three namechecks of close associates this way...

"Be Here in The Morning" is probably all-time favorite Beach Boys 'deep cut'. A little pocket-symphony of its own. Smiley

Yes, it's a little gem. Often overlooked, I think.

I wonder if Van Dyke Parks heard that song and thought "I wonder why Brian doesn't want to take my calls?"
