Unlike our UK buddies b!tching about the fact no concerts have been announced in their neck of the woods, we have a glass half full attitude and will await with interest tour dates which are sure to come.

Talk of Japan dates by Mike awhile back so Australia and NZ possibly around the same time don't you think?

No complaining downunder. Just positive vibes we won't be forgotten.

Have you ever seen a terrible american movie called "the patriot" with Mel Gibson?

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Our $$$ is worth more than the US $$$, if they 'aint coming to Australia I will head to the USA, not going to other nearby neighbours to watch.

Just found this under the brit site. Aust leg has been talked about by both the band and a Capitol release but does this reply relate to a NZ concert?
Trader is a long time poster on that site and it would be interesting if his source was legit.

The chances of the 50th tour coming way down under is slim to nothing..I am guessing a road trip to Aussie will be the plan..with that I see the California Saga group with the kids is getting ready to tour..I wonder what the chances of them playing NZ through the summer would be..if we can not the real deal then why not have the next best thing..children of The Beach boys..

Kyle

The word is that they (BB'S) will be doing a quick visit in August/September - nothing advertised as yet...

Once again, I hope a 'quick' visit isn't code for "We're going to Sydney and Melbourne then pissing off"!

This is from the Beach Boys website as posted on April 25th (yes, that was a whole month ago), as part of the the TWGMTR and album blurb;

The Beach Boys have also confirmed concerts throughout Europe with additional European territories to be announced shortly.  The Beach Boys will also perform shows in Japan, and concerts in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia will be announced soon.  All confirmed tour dates can be found on TheBeachBoys.com.

I've updated my various ticket company spam subscriptions in order to be at the ready, and will of course provide a droolly and breathless update should I get tickets.

I'm assuming Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane (or Gold Coast), maybe a keg party at Bond University.

Um... it was stated some time ago that an Australian visit is going to happen although the actual dates and venues have yet to eb announced.

Maybe the kiwi slang needs some explaining AGD.

'Way down under' refers to NZ....As in below downunder!
'Roadtrip to Aussie' means a trip to Australia!
I underlined 'but does this reply relate to a NZ concert?' which means.... I don't know what else it could mean?

My reading of Kyles question relates to NZ as does Traders reply. Was this Traders intention?
