while trying to make a scrapbook of printing-off-ings and newspaper articles...I'm trying to print off the older newspaper articles about BB/BW but when I click print, everything but the news article prints on the screen...then when I copy it then paste it to a document, it's all in pieces...is it against the rules to print that stuff off?

Have no idea.... where are you trying to get them from?

to start, follow my links:
I put a custom range from 1966 to 2011...so older articles will be in newspapers which is what I'm trying to print:
http://www.google.com/search?q=beach+boys&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1&rlz=&safe=active#q=beach+boys&hl=en&safe=active&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&sa=X&ei=Wb2uTqsVsYaJAtyIiZ0L&ved=0CBQQpwUoCw&source=lnt&tbs=cdr:1%2Ccd_min%3A1966%2Ccd_max%3A2001&tbm=nws&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&fp=96d6fb08df2af9d1&biw=1024&bih=571

Here's an article from 1983 on Dennis' death from The Milwaukee Jourmal (newspaper):
http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=JW4aAAAAIBAJ&sjid=BioEAAAAIBAJ&pg=3257,4345647&dq=beach+boys&hl=en
Now there's the whole newspaper, but I'd just like the article...and I can't copy/paste it either (I don't think).
When I hit print, usually just prints the items/links on the top & the right side.

I'm sure it's against rules to print other people's work.

However, you could get around it by taking screenshots of page your are trying to print - and then print the saved picture.
