How'd you get it so early?

So we've now heard over half the record, correct? I'm really enjoying everything I've heard.

5. Our Special Love
6. The Right Time

Really loving this track. I can see this being a big hit.

I guess the new clips prove that "Guess You Had To Be There" and "Sharing A New Day" are one and the same.

I saw this a few weeks ago. My brother is a professional musician and he got an advance copy from another musician friend last year while all the copyright issues were being hammered out.

Very in-depth and enjoyable documentary. Nice footage of Brian and the boys in the studio (not sure if it was previously seen or not) and there's a really poignant segment with Hal Blaine.

This review reads like the writer listened to the Google Play samples and derived a full album review from that. Pretty shoddy, IMO.

The best chance for this album to be a big success is for Capitol to promote the hell out of the songs with Zooey, Nate Reuss and the Capital Cities guy.

I wonder if we'll ever find out which songs were written with the Beach Boys in mind, and which were conceived after it became obvious the reunion was over for good.

Anyone know why Frank Ocean dropped out of the album? At least in the case of "Last Song," we know two versions were recorded and they decided to use the solo BW version rather than the duet with Lana Del Rey. Did Ocean ever actually record anything?

Sounds like an outtake from "Imagination."

Would it be too much to suggest that Brian's people read these boards over the last few years, saw the demand for this song and that's why they chose to include it as a bonus track?

sweetdudejim called it with this post about the "Love and Mercy" soundtrack all the way back from last January.

Now anyways, after that, it's possibe, depending on licensing, that maybe you could end up with some other artists stuff. Maybe some Crystals, Ronettes, Beatles, possibly some Four Freshman even. Lastly, my biggest hope is that they decide to share previously unreleased older material, maybe like the piano and vocal version of "In the Back of My Mind" from 1975. I think something like that would be possible.

I could swear that when "Love & Mercy" was first announced someone on here made a joke about them including an unreleased BW recording such as "In the Back of My Mind" on the soundtrack.

Both "In the Back of My Mind" and "Love and Mercy" re-recorded? I wouldn't be mad if that were the case.

Or maybe the 1975 recording of "In the Back of My Mind"? Wouldn't that be wild?!? I know, very unlikely, but a man can dream!

Something tells me we'll be getting the 1975 version. 

If "No Pier Pressure" was a proper Beach Boys album, I'm sure it would have included "Run, James, Run" (being a car song), "Pisces Brothers" and "Danny Boy." I think it's obvious the idea of recording "DB" was conceived with the Boys in mind.

Pretty sure the SMNL remake is called "Somewhere Quiet". It's on the deluxe version.

Still feels surreal that Brian is here among us. It's like a dream come true. 

"Guess You Had to Be There" and  "Sharing a New Day" (both with Kacey Musgraves).

We've heard of these titles, but do we know for sure they made the final cut? The tracks I mentioned above have all been confirmed from various sources.

I also recall Ray Lawlor specifically mentioning that "Summer Means New Love" replaced "Our Special Love."

So by my count we have 10 confirmed tracks for the new record:
