Nothing better to do than reread old magazines last nite.  3 year old magazine article on Friends by David Beard.  "Making Friends With the Beachboys". Nice article, interesting pics, awful cover pic with Carl sneering.  At the end, AGD is credited as "Research Assistant".

Andrew, surprised to see your name jump out at the end.  Care to discuss, comment on the article?

David asked me for some basic research and facts, and being an all-round good egg, I agreed.  Grin

Can't recall if that came before or after the Friends-themed issue of ESQ.

Have to note-though David is a friend-that he added a timeline from AGD's site-based on the research of AGD and I-which is constantly updated and many of the dates he stated have since been altered based on info I found.  So handle with care.

I was just curious after seeing AGD credited in a mag that has been yellowing in my garage.  I'm not too obsessive about dates, although I watch with fascination those who keep track of such.  And I do buy the books.  I'm the kind of guy who enjoys reading about history but can't be bothered with the dates  LOL
