If this is too off topic, please move this post.
I was just listening to some Tennessee Ernie Ford on youtube and found a video for his version of "Peace in the valley". Take a look at 0:12 and 1:09, you might recognize those pictures

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

In Oklahoma, there's a HUGE larger than life statue of End of The Trail in the Cowboy Hall of Fame and Museum. IIRC, the museum also has a print of the painting that inspired the Brother Records logo.

I thought it was inspired by the sculpture at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.  At some point, there was talk of one of Dallin's works greeting boats as they came into New York.  Don't know which one, however. Sadly, the powers that be decided against it.  Maybe it would've been too hypocritical

I believe that the one in Boston is the "Appeal To The Great Spirit" (Brother Logo) sculpture.

The Brianista Prayer

Oh Brian
Thou Art In Hawthorne,
Harmonied Be Thy name
Your Kingdom Come,
Your Steak Well Done,
On Stage As It Is In Studio,
Give Us This Day, Our Shortenin' Bread
And Forgive Us Our Bootlegs,
As We Also Have Forgiven Our Wife And Managers,
And Lead Us Not Into Kokomo,
But Deliver Us From Mike Love.
Amen.  ---hypehat
