Am I the only person in the world to make it to the part of the movie (around 52 minutes in) where Brian Wilson stars as the Surfite?!! I mean, it's Brian doing another great weird voice ala Mt. Vernon! Can you dig it?!!!http://www.hulu.com/watch/168243/tales-of-the-rat-fink?c=News-and-Information/Documentary-and-Biography

Thanks for posting that link...I must admit that I cheated by skipping ahead (despite the commercials) to that section at 52 minutes...Brian could easily be a voice actor...and John Goodman is great at narration!  Great "surf rock guitar" audio and video clips of the early 60's with Annette Funicello in the Disney Beach movies.

Very cool for surf-rock historians!  Wink

I totally dig Brian's cartoon voice characterizations. The one redeeming aspect of "Smart Girls" is how loopy and cartoonish his lead vocal is and I was reminded of it hearing his "Surfite" voice in this video.

I think this is the only spot on the planet where someone finds a reason to like Smart Girls. Well done that man.

Now, on to Kokomo...

I think Brian really enjoys this kind of gig. It's great when his playful side gets to come out and... play!
