Hearing Beach Boys music in other band's songs

I'm probably going insane, but I've noticed the chorus of "Devil Inside" by INXS sounds awfully similar to the bridge of "It's About Time" by The Beach Boys. I made a comparison video, so see for yourselves.

There's not a single mention of The Beach Boys, Do It Again or B. Wilson/M. Love in the credits in the CD booklet.

Is it me, or do I hear some Heroes and Villains in the background riff to Phil Spector's "River Deep-Mountain High"?

How about the melody to this ELO song? Maybe not an obvious rip off. I love ELO, but I don't really care for this song.

God, that 'dun, der-dun, der-dundun, der-dun' riff is in so many Spector tunes. Try The Bells Of St. Mary, or Save The Last Dance For Me...
Here's one. The start of 'Ridge Rider' by Judee Sill sounds a lot like God Only Knows...

All roads lead to Kokomo. Exhaustive research in time travel has conclusively proven that there is no alternate universe WITHOUT Kokomo. It would've happened regardless.

Albert Hammond Jr (rhythm guitarist for the strokes) had a couple solo albums recently. For being a strokes guitarist, he has said the boys are a big influence. This is prob my fav song by him, not just cause the bridge is a complete take from God Only Knows.

Its more likely to say that you can hear Spector in H&V the other way around...

I think that was Hypehat's point, but he is saying the riff (that BW ripped off) is more prominent in Save The Last Dance, than it is in River Deep.

Maybe it's just me and my obsession for the song, but I hear elements of 'God Only Knows' in several other songs.
Do these lyrics seem very similar to anyone else?
Quote
I may not always love you
But as long as there are stars above you
You'll never need to doubt it
I'll make you so sure about it
And from 'Touch Me' by The Doors:
Quote
I'm gonna love you
Till the stars fall from the sky
And the very first time I heard the intro of 'Bubbly' by Colbie Caillat I thought I was listening to a loungy acoustic cover of 'God Only Knows'. The intros sound really similar to me.
