Brian Wilson- Adult Child

I don't know much behind the making of this album other than the fact it was never officially released, and it was recorded around 1977. I put this up there as one of Brian Wilson/ The Beach Boys great albums, and it's a shame that it has never been officially released.[/]

1."Life Is For The Living"
2."Hey Little Tomboy"
3."Deep Purple"
4."H.E.L.P. Is On The Way"
5."It's Over Now"
6."Everybody Wants To Live"
7."Shortenin' Bread"
8."Lines"
9."On Broadway"
10."Games Two Can Play"
11."It's Trying To Say" (aka "Baseball")
12."Still I Dream Of It"

You know, there's not a bad song on there!  Wonderful album, wish it would come out officially.  Heck, while we're dreaming here, let's throw in a smattering of "Love You Demos" as bonus tracks.

Love the blown out torch ballads (It's Over Now, Deep Purple, Still I Dream of It) positioned against the naive "daily life observations" of the non-orchestrated tracks.  The intro of "Everybody Wants to Lives" is rightly legend,  but the "cigarette butt" verse gives way to another triumphant Brian Wilson mantra.  The final album of a trilogy: 15 Big Ones - Love You - Adult Child. One more troubled yet beautiful glimpse into the factured mind of Brian, and then suddenly he was back down the rabbit hole.

There are people who have taken LSD thousands of times and are as sane as Jeff Foskett. Well, that's a bad example, because Jeff hates Love You and that's INSANE.

Beautifully put. My little gag (feeding SB into the Encheferizer) was completely worthwhile, and I agree of course.

Isn't there a SOT version of it that has all of it, neatly packed? If I wouldn't already hav... would see that one, I'd go for it, but of course I would refrain from doing so in the last seconds, because I vehemently hate unofficial material. Hooray for the Don!

Coincidentally I'm thinking of going to Amsterdam this Saturday. If somebody knows of any record stores there that sell bootlegs, please feel free to send me a PM to let me know which ones, so that I can stay as far away as possible from those evil illegal music dealers!

Haha... ik meen dat er in dat 'gemoedelijke Brabant' in de jaren '80 een zeer florerende rockabilly-bootlegindustrie gesitueerd was. Dat stond toen in Oor. Persten ze die dingen van ouwe autobanden? Of koeiemest?

LOL yes. Sometimes we communicate with each other in our native tongue. But only after we took off all of our clothes, to show our massive tattoos. And we drink our magic potions. And we stick tiny pins into our Mike Love puppets.

Hmmm... now that you mention it... that could be just the summer hit for 2011. Forget the reunion, this is the new hip.

You aren't Dutch. You must be a troll from the Wishbone Ash forum. How did you grab the inlog key from the real SMiLE-Holland that we so hate and despise love and care about?  police
