I know it must be true because I read it on the web!  Salvador Astucia spells it out, right here:

http://www.jfkmontreal.com/john_lennon/Epilogue.htm

Tryto skip over the Beatles/Lennon part and get right into the meaty "Manson was an FBI informant" section.

Well, he can spell Murry correctly, so thats' fine by me !

Seriously, this claim - "Their mother’s name was Audree Neva Korthof, born September 28, 1918, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. More research is required to determine for certain if Korthof was Jewish" - besides being a year out with her birth date, just doesn't stand up. Checking Audree's ancestry isn't rocket science - I did it a good few years ago. It goes back to Steven Jacobsz Cortof, born 5 April 1615 in Naarden, Noord-Holland, Netherlands and the line is unbroken. Good, solid Dutch ancestry on both sides until her grandfather married a girl of Prussian descent.

He may have spelt Murry correctly but the rest of his 'information' about The Beach Boys is the typically inept load of bollocks I've come to expect from people who can't be arsed to do their research properly.

My favourite parts are 'there is no logical reason for their sustained success' and 'The Beach Boys have not performed musical parts on their recordings since around 1965'! What a complete and utter tool this guy is.

(use translation  Grin its not dirty) Thanks for the info AGD.

That made for errrrrrrrr... interesting reading. Once I have cracked the mystery of the "Manson Murders" (any day now!), I will turn my attention to the assaination of Mr. Lennon.

I'd have bought a Lennon conspiracy murder angle if he'd have been shot 10-15 years earlier but by 1983* John was let's face it, a man who'd only recently come back from a 5 year retirement with less than gripping music, none of which was socially or politically motivated. It didn't sell on the scale of his glory years either, frankly, he was just like many other middle aged artists looking to fit in with a changing music scene. In other words he was hardly at the stage in his career where he could be deemed a menace to right wing society, corrupting the youth of America! Why would the Feds suddenly decide to kill him as a 40 year old family man? I'll stick with the theory that Chapman was aiming for Yoko Ono but slipped!

* Edit 1980. Don't try to post stuff at 3am, just go back to sleep!  Grin

By 1983 he'd been dead for three years.  Not professionally, but physically.  And I actually like parts of Double Fantasy (especially when stripped of their studio gloss) more than most of Mind Games or Walls & Bridges.

nah - Stephen King is afraid of vans.  And has trouble avoiding them, apparently.

Alle wegen die met Brian Wilson te maken hebben leiden uiteindelijk naar Naarden, en niet naar SMiLE.

Dat we dat maar effe weten!

Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45.

Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story

Hey were getting of the topic  Grin

I loved it! Read the whole thing before going to get fingerprinted (for a Nevada gaming license of course!). One thing I have to point out is that I know Geoffrey Giuliano personally and he is so full of sh*t. I grew up in a town called Lockport, NY which is a suburb of Buffalo where he lives. We used to trade those cassette bootlegs back in the 80's and early 90's. He was (no kidding!) a Ronald McDonald for Canadian commercials at the time. Nothing beats the memory of dropping acid and Ronald McDonald pops out (again no kidding!).

It is still very interesting how all of these people and places seem to be connected. Thanks for the link and even though I don't believe in such conspiracy theories I still find them very entertaining!

It's even worse. He was born in the same city as yours truly. It could even be that many years ago, he and I were shopping in the same store, or biking on the same path, on our way to school... the horror, the horror... Shocked
